How telehealth psychiatry works
After booking online, you complete brief intake paperwork and attend your appointment from any private location in California with a stable internet connection. Initial evaluations are 50 minutes; follow-up visits are 25 minutes.
Each visit may include medication management, psychotherapy techniques (CBT, DBT, supportive and psychodynamic approaches), and lifestyle guidance — a whole-person approach to mental health.

Any adult located in California at the time of the appointment may schedule a virtual visit. We serve patients in San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Beverly Hills, Calabasas, Agoura Hills, San Francisco, San Jose, and communities statewide.

Dr. Amy Appleby is a board-certified psychiatrist who has practiced medicine since 2016. She received her medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed her psychiatry residency at Kaiser Permanente Fontana.
Her experience spans outpatient clinics, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, crisis centers, partial hospitalization programs, correctional facilities, and medical hospitals.
